DAHS board members continued its work to revamp how they are organized and the terms they serve during a Zoom meeting March 5.

It was the second Zoom meeting led by President John Mark Nielsen on the topic this year. The other was Feb. 12.

The board launched the study of potential changes during its Nov. 4, 2023, meeting at Grand View University in Des Moines, Iowa.

The goal is to tweak the board structure to benefit the organization’s publications, grants, communications, board management and conference committees. The board has 11 volunteer members. There is one vacancy.

The board will address recommendations during its April 6 meeting in Covington, Kentucky.
